Numbers Tell the Story: People Dislike Mark Carney More Than They Dislike Pierre Poilievre

The Liberals are on a witch hunt. They want to convince you that Pierre Poilievre is hated by his team and by Conservative members.

But surprise, surprise, they’re lying.

Before I break down how and why I know they’re lying, let me give my two cents on Pierre as a leader.

He’s not perfect, no one is. He’s exceptionally smart, and sometimes that brilliance isolates him.

His strength is his weakness. He is blunt, hyper-focused, and driven like no one else I’ve ever encountered.

He reminds me of Arnold in The Terminator: he’s programmed to expose injustice, call out corrupt accounting, and fight to save Canada, and nothing will stop him.

But sometimes that hyper-focus is perceived as too repetitive or too aggressive. For political pundits and strategists, that’s a perfect vulnerability to attack. Branding is powerful, and the Liberals are good at it. They will repeat something over and over, even if it’s not true. It’s ironic, really, they’ve managed to brand Pierre as repetitive by… being repetitive.

Pierre is exceptional, and exceptional people evoke exceptional reactions.

But I believe strongly he is without a doubt the best leader for the Conservative Party and Canada. There’s room for improvement in marketing, communications and strategy, but Pierre is the guy.

So back to how I know the Liberals are lying.

I work with a company called Rogue Management. We monitor online conversations across the country every day. Once you post online, it’s public information. We specifically focus on and analyze what I affectionately call non-political Canadians, the persuadable voters.

They don’t pay close attention to politics because it’s exhausting and toxic, and they’re too busy trying to survive to keep up with the daily drama on Parliament Hill.

But they do care about the cost of living, crime, housing, social services, and their neighbours.

Fun fact: most Canadians care about these things.

The advantage of analyzing online conversations is simple: people say what they actually think.

When I used to door-knock as a candidate, many people were too polite to tell me the truth.

And for the record: almost everyone complains about the leader. A leader cannot please everyone. They will always have critics.

So back to the data.

We analyzed 6,506 conversations across the country, , 53% male, 47% female and the numbers show Pierre Poilievre has a 52% negative rating, while Mark Carney has a 58% negative rating.

Why isn’t the media reporting that?

Because you don’t bite the hand that feeds you, and the Liberals feed national media with subsidies.

And how much of the reporting that tells you Canadians don’t like Pierre is manipulating people to not like Pierre? It’s propaganda.

Liberals know Pierre is fierce, they know he will stop at nothing to expose them, so they use every option to destroy him.

Now you know. So speak up and correct people. That’s how we fight back, together, united. Canada cannot afford this Liberal government, your children and grandchildren cannot.

Canada needs the truth, not vibes, and clearly a lot of you know that.

Canadians dislike Mark Carney more than they dislike Pierre Poilievre.
