They want you to believe Mark Carney is a humble public servant making a sacrifice. But use your critical thinking: Why would a man leave a job in the UK making over $1.5 million CAD a year with a $400,000 housing allowance for a PM job that pays a fraction of that? Following a recent pay boost, Carney now earns $435,400.

When someone takes a massive pay cut to seize total control, they aren’t working for the salary, they’re working for an agenda. Carney didn’t just leave a high-paying job; he left a global lifestyle. While his family reportedly maintained ties to New York City and London, he moved his former company’s headquarters, Brookfield Asset Management, from Toronto to New York City just months before taking power.

They told us he was worth roughly $7 million on the campaign trail. Don’t be naive. Between 13 years at Goldman Sachs and running a trillion-dollar asset manager, his true wealth is likely much higher.
